$45 – $55

How to Be an Effective Ally – Due to Unforeseen Circumstances, this Workshop has been Postponed

We look forward to having you join us for this event in the future.

A powerful, Interactive Workshop to build your skills as an ally in service to creating inclusion.

Following Breakfast, 9:30–11:30 AM
Led by Seattle’s Civic Poet Anastacia-Renee

Have you witnessed someone being discriminated against, treated with total disrespect, or blatantly ignored?

Do you know what to do to be an advocate, an ally? Or do you exit a situation wishing you knew what to do?

And how can you step out of your comfort zone and intentionally invite more diversity into your life?

Come Learn and Practice
1) Opening your awareness to your own unconscious bias
2) Kindly questioning that bias
3) Initiating positive action to support those facing discrimination in any situation (e.g. race, gender, culture, economic, sexual orientation, personal beliefs, and other).

Be sure to bring a notebook to capture reflections and actions.
